magical mystery ride

SO! A new hair store opened a few days ago. It’s called “+Spellbound+” and god dang it I am just in love with what this girl did. Not to mention her advertising, her face, the interior of the store… everything! You’ve just -got- to check it out. I got all three hairs without even looking for the demo sign. I just wanted to get them on my head so I got the variety pack to have a look at the colors. I love the blonds, the blacks, the ones with roots and of course – my favorite and main color – brown. They all look so soft and this might be my new favorite hairstore after Elikatira.

To be clear btw, this hair comes with bangs, normally! Check it out here on Kohana Xue’s Flickr. But thank God for people who leave their hairs modifiable: I just clicked edit > edit linked parts, selected the bangs, and set the insibility to %100. I’m not the biggest fan of long bangs, but I’m gonna try to edit my fave “booN” bangs under there. So ya, go have a look!

Thought it would be time to change things up a bit with my blog layout! I really like the gradient backdrops that people usually do, but it was mostly too dark for my taste. I like soft, simple and light. Although this is maybe still a bit too dark for my taste, I’ll try it out for now and maybe see if there’s something else I can change it to. Shadows usually make light backdrops even lighter, to the point where you only see white – and that’s too light for me. But we’ll see, who knows what I come up with.

I went for a simple look today. I haven’t been blogging much, not after Skin Fair. Mostly because I have a ton of events to do for my own store, and of course because I’ve been switching between all the skins I’ve recently purchased. I had a hard time deciding which skin I was going to stick with, but after editing my shape a little, I decided to stick with Glance’s “Aina”. I initially liked the “Tian” skin more, simply because of the gorgeous lips. But because I like to wear my parted lip alpha’s, I thought this would be a better fit. My lip alpha’s cut off the little part of Tian’s lips which I so much adore. Aina’s nose and eyes are much more to my preference, and the brows are gorgeous and bushy. I’ve been liking this skin a lot, and think that it’s starting to grow on me more and more. I think it has even topped my Pink Fuel “Harley” addiction. But who knows… Mochi still has to release Sora!

The Fantasy Gacha fair is on it’s way and there are some amazing goodies waiting there for you! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the The Sugar Garden gatcha so I blogged those items first – but I’ll be showing yall more as soon as I can! The Fantasy Gacha fair opens on the first of Febuary so you gotta have a little bit of patience, but it’s surely worth it: look how adorable this cat costume is! There are two machines (one for the ears, clip-on tail and mittens and one for the collars) and both items come with color change HUD’s. These are truly amazing and you get way more options than with your traditional gatcha, which is amazing! Most of the time I don’t care much for gatcha machines over 50L, but for 75L this one is more than worth a few spins.

As many of you know, Collabor88 has opened once again with another round. This month’s theme is very fitting to the month December, and is all about being cozy and warm: Hibernate! I love the theme, especially because I love wearing things that look cozy. Every Lamb release astounds me, as does this one. The trapper hat is amazing and comes with a HUD, which allows you to change the color of the hat. Maitreya, I think, is a guest designer this round and has made these uh-may-zing leggings. Love em! [Pumpkin] made something cozy-looking as well, something which I paired easily with the earlier mentioned hat. I love this fur vest/leather jacket combo, and as always the textures are looking great. These boots were a gatcha from *COCO* at The Chapter Four last month but they have started another round as well, so you’ll have to go to the mainstore and see if they’re still available! I can’t stop blogging for too long, I just… get these itches to do something. So I’m back, I guess! Though I don’t know how often I’m going to be able to do a blog post, and I decided that I’m not going to force the posts outta me. Anyway! I’m sure everyone knows about the new Pink Fuel skin, and adores it, too. I love this skin so much, and I love all the options it gives. The earrings are adorable too, and I love the golden/bronzy color of them, as though they’re centuries old, you know. The VCO gatcha at the Okinawa Summer Festival is adorable too! These phones are very cute, and I’m glad I got the melon one : D ILLMATIC has a bunch of new items for their summer collection, where under these shorts. I love ’em! The jacket is an golden oldie from {mon tissu} and although the fact that it’s sculpty and not mesh, I still enjoy wearing it. Beetlebones opened up a mainstore, and these shoes (worn with SLink feet) are my favorite item!

Hiya guys! I don’t feel like typing much today but I just need to say a few things about these items. Especially that cropped top on the left! It’s from Ozi and I adore it. The arms… *_* and this colour is to die for. The other top is available at FaMESHed and is from NYU! I just adore her items, always have, but this is defintely one of my faves. The bow is colour changable with the HUD that comes with it and it can be worn with alot of other items. However, the shorts that NYU is selling along with it are soooo cute as well, so I’ve worn them quite a bit. The skirt from the new line of Vive 9… do I need to say more? It’s Vive 9, that’s the Gucci of SL. DONE.

Hiiii guys Vive Nine has brought out new stuff! *_* I’m so excited to show you every single one of them, and if I had the time I would even show you all the colours, but- um, yes, let’s get to them. Vive Nine’s old line holds a pair of pretty, chunky little bootie heels that I adored, and now, they brought them out in mesh as well. They come in sooooo many options and with a HUD that functions perfectly! The top above, that I used to display this new line of skins from CandyDoll, is from the new line as well. It’s basic and cute, and fits in almost every outfit. Now, CandyDoll released this new skin, Layla! She has a very pretty face, and the tones are very warm. Another SL DisneyBound post! Yay! This week, my favorite Disney movie EVER. I must’ve seen this movie at least fifty times, and I’m not exaggerating in ANY way. I remember asking my parents countless of times if I could see this movie when I was a kid. It was the first movie I owned on DVD instead of tape! Awesome. I know every line in this movie, and I was SO excited when Natalee IMed me with this. So yeah, can’t wait to see all of yours, and can’t wait to see what next week’s DisneyBound character will be!

Hiya guyyys! Another post today, and again, I’m using this beautiful hair from ICONIC. I do have to say  that I DID edit it more than just a little bit this time, I went a little crazy on that. Mostly I just go around the edges and add some strands here and there, and really, just do the minimal editing to a hair so you guys aren’t dissapointed when you buy it inworld. But this time I just thought “whatever idc” and went full-on editing mode on this hair. I was really annoyed by flexi just a couple weeks ago, and I still kinda am. However, how other would you be able to make a hair like this? I actually have hair like this irl (curly, not red tho lmao) and the day that someone invents how to make a hair like this in mesh… I will cry! But, as long as curls aren’t on the market in mesh yet, I will enjoy them in flexi prim. <333 bai
