So normally I never really do furniture or interior blogs but that’s mostly because I’m not very familiar with this style of SL photography. I tend to overthink pictures, especially when I’m not familiar with the style and even more so when I don’t know how to edit them. But I guess I’ll try my hand at them more often, since I did like taking these pictures (although it took me waaaay too long). Anyway, I mostly decided to do this picture because of this amazingly beautiful house from Scarlet Creative at Collabor88 this month. From the outside it has an almost arabic feel to it for me, and from the inside it’s just very cosy and shabby.

 

I put the Breno skygazer hut in front of the house and decorated it with some other small goodies from Collabor88 which I couldn’t wait to show off. Anya never fails to amaze me with what she makes, and solely because of her astronaut piggy lamps I’m considering to re-decorate my bedroom. I didn’t decorate much of the inside of the house because I mostly wanted to capture the outside – and because I have a family house on our sim. We’re very happy with that house right now, but if I find myself looking for a new house to live in sometime in the future I will definitely reconsider the idea of rezzing this house and decorating it fully. I am simply in love with this house.

My pictures don’t really do the house any justice however so you should definitely have a look at Collabor88 once the lag and extreme fullness dies out a bit in the next few days. That’s where you can see the entire inside of the house, and can admire the shabbiness.
